Summer 2026…so far

With the recent solsticio (start of summer), we're embracing joy via early morning walks in Jardín del Turia -- our long shadows leading the way. Familiar paths reveal new discoveries of this breathtaking city and of ourselves. Always changing, ever emerging.

Artist friends amaze us with their creative storytelling using clay and paint, while leaving us gobsmacked at the similarities between refugees of today's world and the characters in "Alicia del Mundo Marvilloso" (Alice in Wonderland). 

Cheering on athletic friends and strangers as they push themselves beyond their limits during the XII Gay Games, marveling at the strength and artistry of the acrobat group Eunoia Kolektiva performing Tenet at the Contorsions Festival, and streaming a few of the World Cup games when the timing works out.
