Behind the scenes of HHI

Watching travel series hosted by Samantha Brown and Rick Steves, along with PBS' Globetrekker, Amazing Race, and House Hunters International for the past 20+ years gave us a way to experience sensational places around the world long before we had the means to buy plane tickets. 

They opened our eyes to diverse people, different cultures, and faraway places, and we often joked that someday...maybe we'd be on one of those television shows. 

Well, plot twist...it actually happened. 

After a few interviews with House Hunters International, shazam - we were chosen to be part of the ultimate travel / relationship / real estate / game show. Proof that when you put yourself out there, life has a funny way of showing up.

Enormous thanks to the outstanding crew - Chule, Pedro, Richard, Anna, Sandra, and Guille - plus Cata from the raffia bag/espadrille shop. Y'all made our experience exceptional.

Seeing the official trailer on Instagram was our first peek, and watching the full episode felt next-level surreal.

Dream achieved, bucket list checked, and another reminder of how lucky we are to be living this life. Grateful is an understatement.
